Still pressing onward & praying that my faith in the promises of God would not fail. The clouds of doubt and unbelief can get pretty thick at times, even here in Idaho. I'm so thankful that when we see them rolling in, our sure defense against discouragement is to faithfully send up a petition to the Sun of Righteousness. It is then that He will arise with healing in His wings and we shall truly go forth as "calves of the stall" (prisoners set free) (Malachi 4:2).
In seeking to attain the promises of God are you beset by disappointment or perplexity? Do not despair! Let us, precept upon precept and line upon line, claim the promises of God! Together let our earnest prayer be "Lord I believe! Help thou my unbelief." It is then, and only then, that "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).
